Its been a long time sense I've written anything for this blog. Something that's been sitting in the back of my head.

So a friend of mine Bert sent me a link to a little musical gem via Detroit 1973. They were a band called Death. No! Not the black metal band! Who are a good band as well. But Death from Detroit. Comprised of David, Bobby and Dannis Hackney. The New York Times recently wrote about the band here: CLICK!

While listening to it. You can't help but think of the bands influence. Off the top of my head Bad Brains, Mission of Burma, also the Wipers. I decided to give the album a shot. Which was released by Drag City Records. The album is really a gem. The brothers are furious musicians on every song. Highlights of the album would be "Let the World Turn", "You're a Prisoner" and the single called "Politicians In My Eyes". Politicians has one the rawest, rhythmic bass lines I have heard in some time. The guitar jam that exits the song is totally RUTHLESS.

I really gotta thank Bert for this one. I felt so passionate about this band. It made me start writing on this blog for the first time. You know its gotta be good!

And AC said, "LET THERE BE LIGHT!"

What a great quote! Reading Issac's "That Last Question" sparked the answer to start something new. That little small white dwarf. I thought, why not just start a Shakespearian...uhhhh yodaesque run of banter. Mainly a field to showcase work and thought. In turn sparking a place to constantly construct upon the great Multivac = Microvac = Galactic AC = Universal AC = Cosmic AC = AC.
